Halloween Planning Meeting
Date: October 21, 2013
Location: 111 Mallard Drive
Please come and help plan our Halloween event. We need a lot of helpers… including youth! Hope to see you there. Don’t worry, the meeting won’t be too long. We will be talking about BBQ, food, games, your ideas? To volunteer to help out with preparations for the event, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
I would like to bring the group together to talk further on the Sheldrake Lake Aeration Project next week. Since our last meeting and presentation at the home owners association I have been working with a compressor company that installed and worked on some of the equipment.
With the support of our working group I am hoping to have the aeration system up and running in the coming weeks. The goal of this next meeting is to bring us together and review the assessments and set objectives for the summer.
Date: Wednesday June 22, 2011
Time: 7:30 PM
Location: 111 Mallard Drive, Hubley
1) Working Assessment of the equipment
2) Supplies/servicing needed to restart the system
3) Annual cost projections to run the system
4) Assessment and testing of lake water while system is working – HRM
5) Daily, weekly, monthly assessment of the system
With success the aeration project could have positive effects not only in our community, but also throughout the watershed. It is my goal to create a clear direction for the future of this project or shut it down. If there is any other topics that you wish to add to the meeting feel free to call or email me. I am excited to see this project moving forward and to be working with a dedicated team of people focused on our lake water quality.
What to do with the Sheldrake Lake Hypolimnetic Aeration Project?
On November 17 at 7PM at 111 Mallard Drive, the Sheldrake Lake Home
Owners Association and WRWEO want to set up an Aeration Committee to
address the issues surrounding the project.
This project has been plagued with problems and controversy since the
idea was present to the two groups in the 90’s. What we hope to do is
create clear direction for the future of the project or shut it down.
The goal of this meeting is to bring like-minded people together and
make positive changes to the health of our lakes. With success the
aeration project could have positive effects not only in our community
but also throughout the watershed.
We hope you can join us to create a working team to address these
issues and provide a clear direction for health of Sheldrake Lake and
surround watershed with or without the Aeration Project.
